Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-11-02 · ChaseDesk
1. What we provide
ChaseDesk provides a free, browser-based generator for overdue-invoice follow-up emails, and an optional paid digital product ("Freelancer Get-Paid Kit") consisting of template documents delivered as downloadable files.
Not legal, tax, or debt-collection advice. All content is provided for informational and workflow purposes only. Late-fee, deposit, and escalation clauses are only enforceable if agreed in a valid contract and permitted under the laws of your jurisdiction and your client's. Some regions cap or forbid late interest; B2B and B2C rules differ (for example, the EU Late Payment Directive 2011/7/EU). Adapt every template and confirm enforceability with a qualified professional before relying on it. Never send threatening or false statements in a payment reminder.
2. Use of the free tool
- The generator runs entirely in your browser; we do not collect or store your inputs.
- You are solely responsible for the content you send to clients and for complying with applicable laws and the rules of any platform where you operate.
3. Paid product
- The Kit is sold as a one-time digital download via our payment partner Creem (Merchant of Record).
- All sales are final for digital goods once delivered. Refund requests are handled by Creem per their policy.
- Resale, redistribution, or claiming the templates as your own copyrighted product is not permitted.
4. No warranty
The tool and templates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any outcome of using generated emails or templates, including non-payment, legal disputes, or financial loss.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaseDesk's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Kit. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your clients.
6. Governing note
For individual users, these terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
